Deferent teachings

In class Friday we learned the different teachings of Paul of Tarsus and that of Jesus. Paul taught that faith in the fact that Jesus rose from the dead and through his salvation you would be saved. Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God was now. These two different teachings are still kind of confusing but I can see why scholars want to call Paul the corrupter of Christianity. I had never heard these two views before.
