Muhammad
For the past few classes we have watched a movie on Muhammad's life and the Islam religion. The fascinating thing about this movie was it shows not only the views of Muhammad as a profit but also the view of him as a everyday man. This showed how he doughted himself and sought information telling him he had achieved the goals he set out to do. In a since he was a humble man that was reserved and gracious to be doing the lords work. The movie helped me to understand more of the Islamic religion and their culture. I had allays wandered about there views of what happened at 911. The movie gave good information on how they could not believe any one saying they were Muslim or Islamic could do this. They were appalled because above all else the Islam religion believes in helping others first and not killing the women and children of other tribes. A question I had was what are there marriage practices? Also do the women make there head scarves or are they bought at stores? Religiously what kind of material do they have to be made of. The movie talks about how Muhammad destroys all 360 religious statues that where in the Kabah in Mecca. I still am not clear on what the one stone that Muhammad left represented.
